A 31-year-old man was airlifted from Fremont to the ThedaCare trauma center in Neenah Sunday afternoon.
Waupaca County 911 received a call shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday that a Fond du Lac man dived head first from a pontooon boat into shallow water on Partridge Lake.
The caller reported that the victim was not breathing.
Bystanders helped the man out of the water and back into the boat. They administered CPR and he began breathing.
Paramedics with Fremont Ambulance were waiting at a nearby boat landing. They provided further treatment.
ThedaStar then flew the victim to the hospital in Neenah.
