Malueg, Edward W.

Edward W. Malueg, age 72, of Clintonville passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.

Edward William Malueg was born on June 16, 1944 in Onalaska to LaVerne and Marcella (Shaddock) Malueg. At a young age, his family moved to Bowler where he graduated from high school in 1962. Edward worked for some time as an over-the-road truck driver. He was united in marriage on September 25, 1975 to Delores A. Hansen at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Then Edward was employed by Curwood Inc. in New London for close to 30 years. He worked in the press and die shop area, retiring in 2006. His memberships included the Clintonville Family Moose Lodge 1502 and the Clintonville Eagle’s Club. The couple enjoyed many winters with their motorhome in Texas. Edward also liked country music and loved playing his steel banjo. He played for a number of years on weekends around the area with the Maple Creek Band.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Delores; and two daughters, Sherry Manzano of Neenah and Kathy (Kevin) McCann of Bonduel. There are seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There are two sisters-in-law, Beverly Malueg of Clintonville and Betty (Marlin) Hull of Neenah. There is one brother-in-law, Don (Faye) Hansen of Clintonville. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Edward is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Delores Pranke; three brothers, Dennis, Edwin, and Neil Malueg; two brothers-in-law, Raymond and Chester Hansen; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Erickson; a son-in-law; and a nephew.

To honor Edward’s wishes there will be no visitation or service held. The Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting the family.
