Traffic
• Aug. 24 – Five people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. in the town of Weyauwega.

Jazlin Van Dyke, 15, was driving southbound on County Trunk U and negotiating a curve when the vehicle went onto the shoulder of the roadway. The driver attempted to correct, causing the car to cross the centerline, cross back over the center line and flip over.

The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side in the west ditch.

Van Dyke was transported to the hospital for non-incapacitating injuries. Van Dyke’s passengers, Tanya Fletcher, 30, of Fremont, and three children, were also transported to the hospital for injuries and possible injuries caused by the accident.
