Waupaca County Fair announces winners

Another Waupaca County Fair has ended for the hundreds of young exhibitors who worked hard to prepare their exhibits for judging.
Youth from kindergarten through age 19, members of 4-H, FFA, Scouts and breed organizations entered projects in animal as well as non animal classes like photography, woodworking, communications, and plant and soil sciences.
Long before the fair, they spent time planning, organizing, learning, testing and experimenting to make certain their projects were finished. Participants knew they would be competing for awards and honors that would create special memories for a lifetime.
The level of excitement was high when exhibits were being judged. Each judge shared reasons for choosing the best in the class and made suggestions for improvement on other projects. Not only did those entering learn from the judge, but also others watching the judging process picked up pointers.
When the County Fair is over, it is time for projects to be taken home for evaluation. Plans for next year’s project begin.
