Clintonville seeks District 2 candidates

The city of Clintonville is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the Clintonville City Council for District 2. Alderman Darrell Teall is moving out of the area.

Citizens living within District 2 and interested in being appointed to the council must submit an application for appointment.

Applications are available on the city’s website or at City Hall. Mayor Lois Bressette will be accepting applications until 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30. Applications can be dropped off or mailed to Clintonville City Hall, 50 10th Street, by the deadline.

The appointment will be considered by the members of the city council during the regular council meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m.

The appointment is for the remainder of Teall’s term that will end in April 2017.
