The New London Bulldogs defeated the Clintonville Truckers varsity volleyball team in a nonconference match Sept. 6.

Clintonville, which sat at 2-2 following the loss, is working to gain experience this fall. Senior Catherine Morse is the only returning varsity player, Truckers Head Coach Lindsay Davis said.

The ladies are growing into their positions and some are learning new positions. I am excited to see them continue to shape as a team as we get into the season.”

New London Head Coach Kristin Gustafson said the Bulldogs are a strong team this year that is looking to make a good run. The victory over Clintonville put the Bulldogs at 12-6 overall.
