Homecoming in Manawa

Bonfire, dress up days, games, parade

Little Wolf High School will celebrate Homecoming 2016 the week of Sept. 26-30.

The schedule includes:

Monday – “Workout Day” dress up; bonfire at 7:30 p.m. in front of high school;

Tuesday – “Salad Dressing” dress up (ninth grade, Ranch; 10th- Italian; 11th- French; 12th, Thousand Island); volleyball game at Amherst with dress up for the game “Blackout;”

Wednesday – “Class Color” dress up (ninth, green and purple; 10th, orange and yellow; 11th, pink and blue; 12th, red and black); Wednesday Night Games from 5-8 p.m. at the high school include Capture the Flag, Powderpuff Football, Eating Contests, Boys Volleyball, Slip and Slide;

Thursday – “Tie-Dye” dress up; volleyball game at home vs. Brillion (students encouraged to wear tie-dye);

Friday – “School Spirit” dress up.

An assembly and coronation will be held at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday. The Homecoming Parade is at 2 p.m., followed by a Pep Rally at Triangle Park.

The Homecoming game is Manawa vs. Weyauwega-Fremont.

The Homecoming court includes: Freshmen – Alex Wepner and Kirstin Schernecker; sophomores – Bo Koehn and Chloe Johnson; juniors – Jordan Kons and Sami Struzynski; seniors – Ben Beyer and Claire Kreklow; Ethan Hass and Haley Reierson, Johnathan Lubahn and Jody Wentworth.
