Elect an effective prosecutor

Experience ensures community’s safety

As a longtime county resident and employee, I have had the privilege of protecting and serving many of you in Waupaca County.

This has been very fulfilling and rewarding, but also frustrating at times. The frustration has come from doing a complete and thorough investigation and then having no results by slow or even no prosecution.

As a 30-year veteran of law enforcement, I consider Veronica Isherwood one of the finest prosecutors I have ever worked with.

Isherwood has been an assistant district attorney for 15 years, with the last two in Waupaca County. During her time here, I have worked several serious and violent crimes with Isherwood. I find her to be very experienced, dedicated, professional and aggressive while assisting me.

In the last two major crimes I worked, she came out to the scenes to assist law enforcement by giving advice, writing search warrants or what was needed. She has also stayed late in her office after hours making herself readily available if needed.

The results speak for themselves with three suspects in jail awaiting judgment.

Therefore, I can see why Isherwood was named Assistant District Attorney of the Year in Wisconsin back in 2008.

Regardless of your political views or party affiliation, I encourage you to exercise your right to vote on Nov. 8. I ask you to vote for an experienced, effective prosecutor, Veronica Isherwood, law enforcement’s choice for Waupaca County district attorney.
