By Greg Seubert

Not only did the Waupaca Area girls’ hockey team pick up its first win of the season, it came at home against a Great Northern Conference opponent.

The win came four days after the team dropped an 8-2 decision to Wisconsin Rapids/Stevens Point/Marshfield.
