Ruby Bateman Rendall, age 96, of Waupaca, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at Park Vista of Waupaca.
She was born April 10, 1920 in Bellflower, IL to the late John and Mary (Cherry) Bateman. On April 3, 1943, she was united in marriage to Leland L. Rendall. He preceded her in death earlier this year, on June 16. Ruby was a school teacher and enjoyed sewing as a hobby.
She will be dearly missed by her three sons: Vernon (Shary), Douglas (Susan), and John (Karen); three daughters: Judy Feist, Rebecca (Scott) Purchatzke, and Mary Rendall; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol (Robert) Paulson.
Per Ruby’s wishes, no services will be held. Burial of ashes will take place at the East Oasis Cemetery, Waushara County, WI. Memorials are appreciated to World Vision International, the Leukemia Foundation, or the Almond Methodist Church. The Maple Crest Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
