Carlyle “Carl” M. Kottke of Waupaca, age 84, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Thedacare of Waupaca.
He was born in Lena, WI on February 17, 1932 to the late Raymond and Mildred (Schaut) Kottke. Carl was an elementary school teacher for 40 years, and was a professional Santa Claus at area malls and events. He enjoyed woodworking, reading and traveling.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Florence; children: Ray (Monica) Kottke, Marcia (John) Bartos, Janet Schroeder, JoAnn (Phil) Sultan, David (Kathy) Batten; sister, Carol (Arliss) Stubbs; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 5 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. The visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Crystal Lake Cemetery in the spring.
