Niemuth, Alice A.

Alice A. Niemuth, age 89, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Crossroads Nursing and Rehab Center in Waupaca.

She was born on August 3, 1928 in the Town of Bloomfield, the daughter of the late Leo and Laura (Robbert) Behm. On June 18, 1977, Alice married Vernon Niemuth at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1994. Alice was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was employed at Woody Cheese in Waupaca, as well as the Pickle Factory in Red Granite for many years. Alice loved her dogs and cats, she also enjoyed embroidery, gardening, doing crafts, and watching Packer and Badger games.

Alice is survived by a brother-in-law, Wally (Kay) Niemuth, Weyauwega; a sister-in-law, Lynnette Hannemann, Weyauwega; nieces, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Linda (Art) Radichel and Sadie (George) Baehman; a brother, Raymond Behm; her mother and father-in law, Walter and Alma (Schmidt) Niemuth; two nephews and a niece.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, N6412 State Rd. 49, Weyauwega. Rev. John Taggatz will officiate. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, West Bloomfield. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, at the church, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Alice’s family would like to extend a special Thank you to the Administrator, the Director of Nursing, Activity Directors and the entire staff at Crossroads in Waupaca for all of the great care and love shown to Alice over the last 4 1/2 years.
