The Indians took three of five games Sept. 7 from Manawa at home after dropping three sets Sept. 5 to Pacelli in Stevens Point.

W-F 3, Manawa 2
The Indians opened the match with a 25-18 win, but the Wolves came back with 25-23 and 25-18 wins to go up 2-1.

W-F forced a decisive fifth set with a 25-10 win in the fourth game and sealed the match with a 15-13 win.

Pacelli 3, W-F 0
The Cardinals swept the Indians 25-19, 25-14, 25-11.

“We held our own in set one, but allowed Pacelli to get a run of points due to passing errors or hitting errors,” coach Rena Tomaszewski said. “We did have several great things happen during the match, however. Joan Radtke had a season-high four block kills, Julia Rice had two, Breanna Weiland had a season-high 20 digs. Morgan Monty led the team with five kills and the ladies collected 10 block kills.”
