Bruce, Colin II,
Colin was born in Buffalo, New York on September 16, 1939, a son of the late Delphine (Hybel) and Reginald Bruce. Colin served in the military working with Nike missiles in El Paso, Texas. In 1973 he relocated to Iola after being recruited by Chet Krause to assist in cataloging world coins and paper money, of which he was considered an international expert. He continued to work for Krause Publications until his retirement over 30 years later. Colin was an avid coin collector and outdoorsman. He loved model trains, adopting cats, and fishing. He loved Wisconsin and Iola-Scandinavia in particular
He is survived by his wife Kandy, and sons: Jon (Tina) Bruce, of Raleigh, NC; Colin Bruce III, of Buffalo, NY; Kristian Bruce, of Lockport, NY. Colin was further survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and brother, Donald (Sharon) Zubris, of North Tonawanda, NY. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Jess and a stillborn daughter, Jennifer and Sister Lorraine.
