William “Bill” Haight, age 77, of Manawa, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
Bill was born to the late Lloyd and Eunice Haight in Manawa on May 10, 1940. Bill loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also had a special love for animals and all of his pets he had throughout the years.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jo (Keith) Forseth; grandchildren, Jordan Forseth and Jared Forseth; great-grandson, Sylas Forseth; sisters, Betty (Dave) Kosmerchuk and Doris (Raymond) Schmitt; many nieces, nephews and cousins; along with several loyal and caring friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Eunice Haight; brother, Laverne “Bud” Haight; sister, Genevieve “Jenny” Burdick. Bill was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his daughter, Mary Jo; son-in-law, Keith and grandchildren, Jordan and Jared.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Thursday, October 12th from 3-6 p.m. Following the gathering, food and snacks will be served at Boondocks Bar and Grill in Symco.
