The Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce is recruiting local businesses to participate in the annual Christmas Elf on a Shelf promotion.
The elf will be placed in participating businesses and a picture will be taken of the elf.
The pictures will then be posted on the chamber website and Facebook page. Businesses are encouraged to share the posts on their Facebook page.
A new picture will be released on a daily basis depending on the number of participating businesses.
The public is encouraged to find the elves around town and submit their list of locations to the chamber. All correct entries will be put into a drawing for prizes.
The cost for businesses to participate is $10 to cover costs and a gift certificate valued at $25 or more.
Any business can participate as long as they are open to the public.
Businesses are asked to provide three clues about their business.
Elves will be delivered Nov. 20-22. Small Business Saturday items will also be delivered at that time.
