Kramer, Corintha A. (Corey)

Corintha A. (Corey) Kramer, age 94, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Park Vista in Waupaca.

She was born in Dale, WI on December 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Rev. Frank Albert and Rose (Grabow) Reier. She was baptized by her father in Dale, WI. She attended grade school in Dale and Waupaca. In 1933 her father received the call to serve Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Corey graduated from Waupaca High School. After graduating from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, she taught school at Trinity Lutheran School in Bay City, MI. She returned to Wisconsin and taught Kindergarten in the Oconto School system. On July 26, 1947 she married Darold Kramer in Waupaca. Together, they owned and operated Kramer’s Print Shop for 33 years, retiring in 1987. Corey was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca until 1973. Then she and her husband joined Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in New London, where she served as organist for many years.

Survivors include her son, Terry (Peggy) Kramer, Waupaca, WI; grandchildren: Daniel (partner-Nicole Wangler) Kramer, Minneapolis, MN; Luke (Jill) Kramer, St. Paul, MN; great-granddaughter, Willow Kramer; Foreign Exchange Student, Carlos Ricciardi, Ushuaia, Argentina and a sister, Delores Ceasrine, Baltimore, MD. Corey is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – Darold, daughter – Cathy Rose Kramer, brother – Gerald and sister – Verna.

Funeral Services will be held at Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in New London at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017. Interment will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 1 until 3 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church of New London. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Park Vista and Theda Care at Home Hospice.
