Carvings on display

Waupaca library hosts exhibit

The carvings of the Waupaca Area Woodcarvers Club are on display in the Waupaca Area Public Library’s exhibit room.

The free exhibit is located in the lower level of the library and runs through Saturday, Feb. 10.

Woodcarvers included in the show are Harold Mohr, Philip Krause, Dennis Wojtalewicz, Gary Longworth, Dawn Krause, Elmer Keil, Walter Sztuczko, John Fountain, Bill Sarnowski, Harry DeWolfe, Kay Durrant, John Johnson and Patrick Pelkey.

People may visit with members of the club from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 as they do a free woodcarving demonstration.

The Waupaca Area Woodcarvers meet each Wednesday in the commons area of the Waupaca Recreation Center.
Dues are $25 per year.
