Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 5

• March 5 – Caller from 500 block of Division Street, New London, reported his sister was harassing him and sending messages that said she will come up from Florida and kill him.

• March 4 – Caller from the 400 block of Grove Street, Manawa, reported his van was stolen and his wallet and cellphone were on the front seat.

• March 4 – Caller from the N10000 block of Pines Road, Fremont, reported her car is at her sister’s house and her husband will not get it for her. She accused her husband and sister of stealing the vehicle. However, her husband’s name is also on the title.

• March 4 – Waupaca caller reported a man with drug abuse problems was making comments about killing himself if he relapses and that he would rather die than go back to prison.

• March 4 – An employee of the Shell station on Churchill Street, Waupaca, reported a $58 gas drove-off. The suspect vehicle was a black Ford pickup with expired license plates.

• March 4 – Caller from the E3100 block of Granite Quarry Road, Ogdensburg, reported a vehicle struck multiple mailboxes and left car parts behind.

• March 3 – Caller from the 700 block of Leighton Road, Waupaca, reported someone entered her home the previous night.

• March 3 – Clintonvile caller reported a friend sent a video Snapchat with a picture of a slashed wrist and blood.

• March 2 – Caller from the E3900 block of County Trunk G, Marion, reported her computer was hacked and $130 taken from her credit card account.

• March 2 – Waupaca caller reported a woman was screaming at two apparently disabled people who fell on the ice. The woman refused to help them and refused the caller’s offer to assist.

• March 2 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported the possible misappropriation of $220.

• March 2 – A caller reported four teens vandalized a mailbox and a stop sign near Berlin Street in Waupaca by spray painting vulgar words on them.

• March 2 – Caller from the 600 block of Park Avenue, Waupaca, reported a man was sleeping in the laundry room of her apartment building.

• March 1 – Caller from the E5100 block of Little River Road, Weyauwega, reported she purchased $2,500 worth of eBay cards, then discovered they were fake.

• March 1 – Caller reported a man who was arrested for area burglaries was seen outside the apartment complex on the 500 block of High Street, Waupaca, banging on a window, then being allowed into the building.

• Feb. 28 – The Outagamie Crisis Center reported it had a woman on the line whose husband was intoxicated and suicidal.

• Feb. 28 – Caller from the 100 block of Depot Street, Manawa, reported two sisters were fighting over a dog.

• Feb. 27 – Caller from the E6600 block of Mountain Lake Road, Manawa, reported his bank called and asked if he had authorized a $400 check written to a woman. He had not authorized the check and accused her of forging three other checks and cashing them.

• Feb. 27, China House restaurant reported a dine and dash by a young couple.

• Feb. 27 – A resident of Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported he was missing two $50 bills.

• Feb. 27 – Caller reported juveniles in two cars parked on the bridge near the corner of Mable Lane and Bridge Road in the town of Bear Creek threatened to shoot her dog if he didn’t stop barking.

Traffic
• One person was injured in a crash at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in the town of Lebanon.

Officers say Houston Schroeder, 20, Fremont, was northbound on County Trunk T when he fell asleep, crossed the southbound lane of traffic, entered a ditch and rolled his 1999 Buick Century about three times.

He was transported to ThedaCare in New London and cited for operating while under the influence.

• One person was seriously injured in a crash at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, March 3, in the town of Royalton.

Donald J. Bellile, 61, New London, was southbound on Pine Street when he crossed the center line, drove across a gravel driveway, struck a telephone box, hit a utility pole and came to rest among some small trees.

The officer at the scene reported finding open intoxicants in Bellile’s 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe S.
He was airlifted to ThedaCare in Neenah and cited for OWI.
