Three children in vehicle not injured
A 41-year-old Bear Creek woman died Monday, March 12, after experiencing a medical emergency behind the wheel on U.S. Highway 45.
The woman was found unconscious in her vehicle in a ditch, according to Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash was reported at 4:35 p.m. one quarter-mile north of Church Road in the town of Lebanon.
Passerby performed CPR on the woman until Gold Cross Ambulance arrived to the scene and transported her to ThedaCare Medical Center-New London. There she was declared deceased as the result of a medical problem.
Three children in her vehicle ages 4, 7 and 9 were not injured in the accident.
The woman’s name was not released before press time Tuesday, March 13, pending notification of her family.
New London Fire Department and New London Police Department also responded to the scene.
