Huebner, Helen M. (Erdman)

Helen M. (Erdman) Huebner, age 82 of Clintonville passed away Friday morning, March 16, 2018 at The Hospice Residence in Appleton.

Helen was born on July 9, 1935 in Clintonville as the daughter of the late Alton and Euella (Dahm) Perkins. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1953 and was united in marriage to Gerald Erdman in November of 1953. The couple had two daughters before Gerald preceded Helen in death unexpectedly in February of 1965. Along with raising her daughters, Helen worked at Clintonville Sales Corp. from 1953-1959 and in 1965 worked at Dairyman’s State Bank in town until her retirement in 1997. In March of 1993, Helen was united in marriage to Dale Huebner. The couple enjoyed traveling and looked forward to spending the winters in Arizona each year. Helen loved a Mount Royal Old Fashioned or two and enjoyed her ceramics. She was a member of the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville where among other activities, she donated her knitting skills to help send clothing overseas. She had a no quit attitude and will always be remembered for her strength.

Survivors include: her husband, Dale Huebner, Clintonville; daughters, Lori Michaels, Kenosha and Barb (Mike) Bova, Arizona; grandchildren, Erin (Mike) Dexter and Chris Land; great-grandchildren, Evan Michaels, Parker Dexter, and Adrianna Land and Rylee Land; step–children, Linda (John) Sauer and Philip (Debbie) Huebner; step-grandchildren: Abby Sauer and Ben Sauer, Kim (Jeff) Herzog, Becca Huebner, and Bret Huebner; brothers: Jim (Dee) Perkins, Tom Perkins, and Steve (Laurie) Perkins. Also numerous other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, sister Joan Haringer, sister-in-law Peggy Perkins, and a grand-niece Marisa Marx.

Helen’s memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Inurnment will be at the St. Rose Cemetery later in spring. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
