Richard A. Scheid, “Rick”, age 59, Darboy, formerly of New London, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
Rick was born on May 8, 1958 in New London to DuWaine and Marlene (Meating) Scheid. On September 17, 1977, he was united in marriage to Kathy Brown in New London. Rick loved hunting at the land, and fishing at his favorite place, the cottage. He took several hunting and fishing trips out west and Canada. Rick worked at Borden’s in New London for 20 years and he continued in the industry working at Milk Specialties, Fond du Lac, where he was currently employed.
Rick is survived by his wife Kathy; daughters, Angie (Dave) Cameron, Yorktown, VA; April Scheid and special friend Justin, New London; his mother Marlene; four grandchildren, Kenidi, Levi, Neyani and Miguel. He is further survived by sister in-law Helen Scheid; special niece and nephew, Stacey Scheid and Corey (Mandy) Scheid, other relatives and many friends. Rick was preceded in death by his father DuWaine and his brother Randy.
Funeral services for Rick will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until the time of service.
