Doris M. Queckboerner, 88, of Waupaca, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Park Vista-Legacy in Waupaca.
Doris was born on June 11, 1929 in Freeport, IL to Osa and Marjorie (Smith) Mosier. She was born and raised in Freeport, IL and graduated from Freeport High School. On May 15, 1949, she joined Everett Queckboerner in marriage. Doris suffered from many health issues throughout the course of her life but never let it break her spirit. She had a love for animals and a special place in her heart for small dogs.
Doris is survived by her husband, Everett Queckboerner and a brother, George Mosier. She is preceded in death by a newborn baby, Roger Steven Queckboerner, who passed away while Everett was serving in the Korean War.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Nepeuskun Cemetery near Berlin, WI on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. The family and all who would like to go in procession to the cemetery may meet at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca Thursday morning no later than 10 a.m. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Park Vista and Park Vista-Legacy for the comfort and care they provided Doris.
