W-F girls win county meet - Waupaca County Post

New London boys also first

A change of location paid off for the Weyauwega-Fremont track team.

W-F edged New London to win the girls’ championship April 28 at the Waupaca County Meet, which moved this year from New London to Waupaca High School. The W-F boys also placed third at the annual meet that also included teams from Waupaca, Iola-Scandinavia, Manawa, Clintonville, New London and Marion.

Team scores for the girls were Weyauwega-Fremont (147), New London (135), Iola-Scandinavia (99), Clintonville (91), Waupaca (89), Manawa (75) and Marion (8).

Team scores for the boys were New London (238), Waupaca (162), Weyauwega-Fremont (88), Manawa (70), Iola-Scandinavia (60) and Clintonville (40).
