Ortner, Jordan J.

Jordan John Ortner, age 26, of New London, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Jordan was born on August 5, 1991 in New London to LuAnn Young and John Ortner. He was the life of the party and made friends everywhere he went. Jordan was a loving and wonderful dad and especially enjoyed time spent with his sons. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, bonfire with friends and spending time with family. Jordan was hilarious and could make people laugh without even trying. He was always there to help other people! Jordan was working most recently for Fed- Ex while also pursuing his own business. No words could ever describe the impact Jordan had on those who knew him.

Jordan is survived by his father, John (Lisa) Ortner, Clintonville; mother, LuAnn (Al) Young, New London; children, Hunter, Mitchel and Brayden; girlfriend, Rachael Williamson; ex-wife, Sara LeComte; grandparents, Joe and Shirley Ortner, Shirley Young, Art and Diane Gerndt and Laurie Page; siblings, Jena (Ben) Schimmel, Jacob Young, Justin Young, Taylor Ortner and Madisen Ortner; aunts and uncles, Jeff and Donna Ortner, Lee and Vicki Berg, Dave Ortner, Dave Gerndt, Roger Gerndt, Bonnie Peters, Larry and Karen Sherwood, George and Barb Webster, Linda Peters, Dave and Carolyn Schumann, Jim and Denise Peters, Dave and Brenda Peters, Tom and Jen Peters, Sandi Allen, Rory and Kim Young, Beth and Brian Bricko, Christine Kalbus and Michelle Schwemer; niece and nephew, Avaeda Bauer and Bryton Schimmel and cousins, Brad, Rebecca, Jacob, Emily, Erin, Tyler, Alec, Trenton, Joey, Evelyn, Houston, Dylan, Jessi, Jacki, Jayme, Jeremy, Jared, Jessica, Heather, Krystal, Nichole, David, Andrew and Lisa and also numerous friends that he considered family. Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Helen Peters and Roger Young; cousins, Scott Young and Bradley Bricko; friend and partner in crime, Mitchel Hankey and ex-mother-in-law, Karen LeComte.

The memorial services for Jordan will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating.
