Chiefs sweep T-Birds
I-S shuts out Chargers

Shiocton swept a Central Wisconsin Conference East Division softball doubleheader from Iola-Scandinavia May 10.
The Thunderbirds also shut out Wittenberg-Birnamwood 10-0 May 8.
Shiocton 4, I-S 2 (5 inn.)
Shiocton scored three runs in the top of the first inning and added one more in the third.
I-S scored its runs in the first and fifth.
Mackenzie Kielblock had three hits for the T-Birds in the first game.
Shiocton 2, I-S 1 (5 inn.)
Cassidy Defferding held the T-Birds to one run in the second game.
Neither team scored until the Chiefs came up with a run in the bottom of the fourth. The T-Birds tied the game in the fifth, but Shiocton came up with the game-winning run in the bottom half of the inning.
I-S 10, W-B 0 (5 inn.)
Kielblock held the Chargers to three hits and struck out six batters to get the win.
Erin Charles and Kielblock had three hits for the T-Birds. Charles drove in a four runs, while Kielblock scored four times. Lindsey Frank added a pair of RBIs.
The T-Birds scoed four times in the third and fifth innings and added single runs in the first and fourth.
