Duchow, Chad Edward

It is with great sadness that the family of Chad Edward Duchow announces his passing on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Chad, loving son of Stuart Duchow (Waupaca) and Beverly Larkee was born Jun 16, 1973 in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Chad presently lived in North Freedom, Wisconsin where he volunteered for 22 years for the North Freedom Fire Department. Chad was loved and respected by his fellow volunteers and worked his way up to captain. He was an avid hunter, but his greatest joy was watching his two daughters, Mariah and Sierra grow into beautiful young women. In 2003 Chad and his brother Brad took over their grandparents carnival, Tip Top Shows, and renamed it Mr. Ed’s Magical Midways, LLC in honor of their grandfather, the late Edward Larkee of Waupaca. Chad was a lover and supporter of the outdoor amusement industry and his early passing is a tragic loss for the industry as a whole.

Chad is survived by his partner Lisa Weiland of 29 years, his two daughters, Maria and Sierra, all of North Freedom, his father Stuart (Kathy) Duchow of Waupaca, his brother Brad (Heidi) Duchow of Sarasota, FL; grandparents, Win Kasper of Brillion and the late Vera Duchow-Kasper of Brillion and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life was held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Sauk County Fairgrounds with interment at the Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom.
