David W. Hintz, age 68, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
He was born on October 4, 1949 in New London, WI; son of the late Merlin and Dorothy (Claassen) Hintz. David graduated from New London High School and Fox Valley Technical Institute. On May 2, 1981, he was united in marriage to Diane Kramer of Fremont. David worked with his dad in the tv repair business and then went back to school for printing and publishing. He was employed at Printron Engravers in Neenah for 35 years. His hobbies were model railroading, photography, and gardening. David will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
David is survived by his wife, Diane Hintz of Waupaca and two sisters, Jean Parker of Marshfield and Linda (Patrick) Flaherty of Alpharetta, GA. He is further survived by an uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for David will be on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Ron Siemers will officiate. Burial will be on Saturday at New Maple Creek Cemetery in the Town of Maple Creek, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
