Donaldson, Gary

Gary Joseph Donaldson passed away at home July 17th with his beloved family near.

He would not say he fought cancer as that may give cancer credibility, which he refused to do. He never lost his intellect, curiosity and sense of the value of understanding the process. This helped him cope and be rational in dealing with diagnosis, treatment and inevitably, death. Gary was born in Neenah Wisconsin and lived his whole life calling Wisconsin his home, finishing life in Bayside. He loved our state. Gary graduated from UW Madison, then studied chiropractic at the source of the skill, Palmer College in Davenport Iowa. He ran a full-time chiropractic practice in Milwaukee for over 30 years, helping numerous grateful patients. Gary steadfastly supported all chiropractic could do for healing and simply giving the body a chance to heal itself. An avid self-taught naturalist, he shared this passion with his family.

The father of two brilliant, fabulous, beautiful daughters, whom he cherished over the finest possessions till the very end. Gary loved his family first, nature second, and believed knowledge was the power an individual can use to see the light.

Gary will be laid to rest in the Natural Path Sanctuary in Verona. Return to the earth what was given. If your heart desires to remember Gary with donation to a cause, please consider The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. “Nature’s voice makes my heart rejoice. Play me the wild song of the wind.” -Bob Dylan.
