Beuthien, Milo

Milo Beuthien of Waupaca, age 90, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.

He was born in Fargo, North Dakota on July 31, 1927, to the late Herbert and Molly (Meyer) Beuthien. On June 26, 1950 he married Jessie Spencer. Milo was a veteran of WWII, serving in the 11th Airborne Division and member of VFW Post 1037. He was a claim arbitrator for the trucking industry. He enjoyed playing many different sports and especially time spent with family.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jessie; children: Karen (Bob) Freiberg of Wauwatosa; Ronald (Joy) Beuthien of Waldo; David (Carrie) Beuthien of Florida; Gayle (Jim Stanizewski) Beuthien of Appleton; grandchildren: Justin and Joshua Freiberg, Kristi Worm, Stacy Stokdyk, Lori Parkinson, Michael and Timothy Beuthien, Victoria Beuthien, Leigh Bolender and Kristine Turkow; 13 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Vernon, Norman, Elwood and Orville.

The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will be at Spencer Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. The family would like to thank the staff of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, Thedacare Hospice and all who have helped care and comfort Milo.
