Man falls off bridge

Injury at Symco car show

A 911 call shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, reported that a man fell off the “big steel girder bridge” and was not moving.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the man climbed onto a tractor located on top of a large steel bridge.

When he was trying to climb down, he fell approximately 20 feet onto the bridge’s wooden floor.

He was transported by ambulance from the car show grounds to a ball field in Symco, where a helicopter flew him to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
