Severson, Christopher R. “Chris”

Christopher R. “Chris” Severson, 43, Green Bay, passed Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on Dec. 9, 1974, in Clintonville, WI to Roy and Fae (Rew) Severson. Chris graduated from Clintonville High School in 1993, he went on to UW-Green Bay where he earned his degree in Business Administration and Marketing and was proud of his time as a UWGB cheerleader. On Aug. 21, 1999, he married his high school sweetheart, Tracy Wisnefske. Chris had a long and successful career in sales due to his hard work ethic, which carried throughout every aspect of his life. He genuinely thought of his clients as his friends. Chris loved being with his family and friends, he truly treasured fishing with the boys. He cherished time spent getting Taylor on the bus each morning and taking her for a donut on her days off of school. Chris looked forward to the annual family vacations up north and the guys fishing trip. He really had a complete love of life and always kept a positive outlook.

Chris is survived by his wife, Tracy; their twin sons, Keegan and Gavin; their daughter, Taylor; his mother, Fae Severson; sisters, Ann (Tim) Zilch, Barbara (James) Foster, and Danielle (friend, Richie) Severson; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Connie and Larry Wisnefske; a sister-in-law, Shelly (Scott) Zwirschitz; a brother-in-law, Nick (friend, Amy) Wisnefske; 11 nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Severson; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends may call at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1731 St. Agnes Dr., Green Bay, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Friday. The Funeral Service will follow at the church, at 5:30 p.m., with Rev. Scott Malme officiating. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Green Bay Oncology, and especially to Dr. Ryan, Nicole Spaeth, and Eric Dellamater. They would also like to thank Unity Hospice, especially Cindy, Tina, Laura, and Dr. Koch.
