Hiking the Ice Age Trail

Waupaca library hosts Lunch and Learn

Melanie Radzicki McManus will be the Lunch and Learn speaker at noon Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Waupaca Area Public Library.

She will talk about her record-setting trek along the 1,100-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail.

McManus is the author of the memoir “Thousand-Miler: Adventures Hiking the Ice Age Trail.”

It was published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press in 2017.

She will also speak about the history of the National Scenic Trail system and how the Ice Age Trail came into being.

This event is being made possible by a donation from the Betty Anderson Family.
