Convictions, sentencings and dismissals from Waupaca County felony cases:

• Judge Raymond Huber sentenced Mark E. Knaus, 58, Weyauwega, to five years in prison and five years of extended supervision.

Knaus was convicted of a 10th drunken driving offense and hit and run.

Charges of misdemeanor bail jumping, operating after revocation, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs were dismissed but read into the court record.

Huber also assessed Knaus $3,936 in fines and court costs, revoked his license for three years and ordered him to install an ignition interlock device on all vehicles he owns.

• Judge Troy Nielsen sentenced Joseph R. Guerts, 37, Waupaca, to three years in prison and three years of extended supervision.

Guerts was convicted of three counts of burglary.

Three counts of theft, three counts of forgery uttering, two counts of criminal damage to property and one count of burglary were dismissed but read into the court record.

Nielsen also order Guerts to pay $7,275 in restitution and court costs.

• Judge Vicki Clussman sentenced Joshua J. Arnold, 37, Dodge Correctional Institution, to one year in jail consecutive to the two-year prison sentence he is currently serving.

Arnold was convicted of burglary in Waupaca County.

He was also convicted of burglary in Outagamie County, where Arnold was sentenced to two years in state prison.

Clussman assessed Arnold to pay $3,304 in restitution and court costs.

• Huber sentenced Christopher L. Dominick, 32, jail, to 12 months in state prison to be served concurrently to the four years he is already serving for earlier convictions.

Dominick was convicted of felony bail jumping. A charge of battery to an officer was dismissed but read into the record.

On a motion from the prosecutor, charges of witness intimidation, threatening to injure, making terrorist threats and 13 counts of felony bail jumping wre dismissed outright.

• Nielsen sentenced Michael D. L. Call, 25, jail, to three years of prison and three years of extended supervision. He also ordered Call to pay $83,561 in restitution and court costs.

Call was convicted of battery to an officer and resisting an officer.

He seriously injured Waupaca County Deputy Scott Lewis when deputies attempted to take a teenage girl to court in August 2017.

• Nielsen imposed and stayed a sentence of six months in jail and placed Matthew G. Hansen, 22, New London, on 18 months of probation.

Hansen was convicted of two misdemeanor counts of resisting an officer, amended from a sole felony count of fleeing an officer.

Nielsen also ordered Hansen to pay $886 in court costs.

• Clussman placed Tammy J. Weller, 52, Waupaca, on two years of probation and ordered her to pay $1,723 in court costs and resitution.

Weller was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor theft. Two counts of forgery uttering were dismissed but read into the record.

• Huber placed Kevin B. Romberg, 30, Appleton, on two yars of probation and ordered him to pay $2,50 in restitution and court costs.

Romberg was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor theft and one count of concealing stolen property,

• Clussman placed Collin L. Swosinski, 20, Clintonville, on two years probation and assessed him $528 in court costs.

Swosinski was convicted of felony delivery of marijuana.

• Huber imposed and stayed a sentence of two years in prison, then placed Tyler J. Pellerino, 21, Waupaca, on three years of probation.

Pellerino was convicted of felony bail jumping. A charge of sex with a child over age 16 was dismissed but read into the record.

Conditions of Pellerino’s probation include 35 hours of community service, no illegal drugs and no unsupervised contact with female minors. He was also assessed $518 in court costs.

• Clussman placed Jeffrey A. Schiesel, 41, Waupaca, on five years probation with nine months in jail. She also ordered him to pay $8,536 in restitution and court costs.

Schiesel was convicted of burglary as party to a crime. Charges of theft, possession of burglary tools, criminal trespass and criminal damage to property were dismissed but tread into the record.

• Nielsen sentenced Toni R. Wanty, 29, Waupaca, to nine months in jail and assessed her $518.

Wanty was convicted of possession of narcotics.

• Huber placed Kenson D. Mueller, 17, New London, on two years of probation and ordered him to pay $5,514 in restitution and court costs.

Mueller was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor theft in a business setting.

• Huber sentenced Brandon B. Schuh, 25, New London, to six months in jail and assessed him $518.

Schuh was convicted of possession of methamphetamine as party to a crime.

• Nielsen placed Breanna M. Woiak, 22, Waupaca, on three years of probation.

Woiak was convicted of delivery of marijuana. Two counts of delivery of marijuana, one count of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place were dismissed and read into the record.

As conditions of Woiak’s probation, Nielsen ordered her to perform 50 hours of community service, participate in any counseling deemed appropriate by her agent and pay $1,079 in court costs and forfeiture.

• Huber revoked probation for Trisha L. Bennett, 36, Waupaca, and sentenced her to five months in jail.

Bennett had benn convicted of child neglect.

Her probation was revoked after she was cited for possession of stolen property.

• Nielsen imposed and stayed a sentence of 18 months in prison, then placed Charles G. Moore, 79, Fremont, on three years of probation.

Moore was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.

Moore was also ordered to pay $518 in court costs.

• Huber placed Paul M. Carpenter, 53, Stevens Point, on two years of probation.

Carpenter was convicted of possession of methamphetamine as party to a crime.

Conditions of Carpenter’s probation include that he participate in any counseling deemed appropriate by his probation agent, obtain all prescription drugs from a single pharmacy, report any changes to his agent within 72 hours and pay $518 in court costs.

• Nielsen revoked the probation of Michael M. Boucher, 29, Waupaca, and sentenced him to one year in jail.

Boucher was convicted of fleeing an officer and felony bail jumping in September 2017 and placed on three years of probation.

Boucher was charged with felony bail jumping in Calumet County on Feb. 15, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was arrested on July 27, in Waupaca County.

• Clussman assessed Mitchell D. Welk, 25, Iola, $695 in court costs.

Welk was convicted of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. A felony charge of possession of narcotics was dismissed but read into the court record.

• Huber placed Tavin S. Matenaer, 23, Waupaca, on three years of probation.

Matenaer was convicted of felony delivery of prescription drugs and felony possession of narcotics.

Conditions of Matenear’s probation include 45 days in jail and $1,036 in court costs.
