Waupaca County sheriff’s report Nov. 5

• Nov. 5 – Caller from the 200 block of East Union Street, Waupaca, called 911 to report he was very drunk. When asked if he needed an ambulance he hung up. He then called back and wondered why 911 called him.

• Nov. 4 – Ogdensburg caller said his ex-wife’s boyfriend wanted to beat him up.

• Nov. 4 – Jolly Roger’s Pizzaria, New London, reported finding a bag full of used syringes by the dumpster in the alley.

• Nov. 4 – Communications officer reported hearing people screaming on a 911 call, and then the call was disconnected. When the Clintonville woman called back, she said her boyfriend was putting his hands on her and her daughter.

• Nov. 4 – New London caller reported her boyfriend hit her in the face and threw his phone at her.

• Nov. 3 – Caller from the 500 block of Jefferson Street, Waupaca, reported at midnight that her boys had a sleepover, five teens had left the house and she was looking for them.

• Nov. 3 – Caller from the N4600 block of Ferry Street, New London, reported someone was knocking on her bedroom window and her front and back doors at 2:40 a.m.

• Nov. 3 – Caller from the 200 block of West Beacon Avenue, New London, reported a purse was stolen from his wife’s vehicle. Entry was gained by breaking the passenger’s side window.

• Nov. 3 – Caller from the 100 block of North Main Street, Waupaca, reported a woman out on bail stole his cellphone.

• Nov. 3 – Caller from the 500 block of Lakeshore Court, Weyauwega, reported two young men wearing hoodies rang her doorbell and jiggled her door handle.

• Nov. 3 – New London caller reported his medication and handicapped parking permit were stolen from his parked vehicle.

• Nov. 3 – New London caller reported a gray Jeep nearly ran over her daughter while she was in the crosswalk near the post office, and then drove through a red light.

• Nov. 3 – Manawa woman found a bank card left in an ATM machine and turned it over to New London police.

• Nov. 3 – Waupaca man found a wallet and turned it over to Waupaca police.

• Nov. 3 – Caller from the 300 block of Tioga Street, Waupaca, reported the theft of a converted snowmobile trailer with a wood-plank floor, metal sides and a ramp.

• Nov. 3 – Caller said a man kicked his truck and punched him in the face as he was exiting the New London Kwik Trip.

• Nov. 3 – A drug overdose was reported on the 100 block of West Fulton Street, Waupaca.

• Nov. 2 – Caller from the N8600 block of Strat Road, Iola, reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the road. Every few minutes, an occupant exited the vehicle and looked around with a flashlight.

• Nov. 2 – Caller from Shamrock Heights Golf and Supper Club, New London, reported a couple of golf carts were damaged overnight.

• Nov. 2 – New London caller reported he suspects his daughter is being wire-tapped by her mother while she is at his house.

• Nov. 2 – Waupaca caller requested a welfare check on her daughter because she believes her daughter’s father’s girlfriend slapped her.

• Nov. 2 – An employee of Piggly Wiggly, Waupaca, reported someone attempted to break into her vehicle while she was at work and caused damage to her vehicle.

• Nov. 2 – Caller from the 300 block of South State Street, Waupaca, reported at 9:30 p.m. that his chocolate brown, long-haired chihuahua had been missing since 7 p.m.

• Nov. 1 – Iola man reported someone opened a fake dating account under his name, using his photos from his Facebook page. The fake account was asking people on the dating website for sexual favors.

• Nov. 1 – Fleet Farm in Waupaca reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill.

• Nov. 1 – Tower Mobil in Waupaca reported a counterfeit $100 bill.

• Nov. 1 – Caller from the 400 block of West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a woman broke into her residence, and when a friend tried to make her leave, the woman became physical.

• Nov. 1 – Waupaca library staff requested an officer pick up a man who appeared intoxicated and had a whiskey bottle with him.

• Nov. 1 – New London school bus driver reported a man with a long gray beard and long gray hair was walking in the middle of the road. He was wearing yellow pants and navy jacket.

• Nov. 1 – Faulks Bros. Construction, Royalton Street, Waupaca, reported a man wearing yellow pants and a black shirt was in a shed in the pit, refusing to leave.

• Oct. 31 – Waupaca caller reported a man with a gray beard wearing yellow pants was sleeping in the driveway of a house that was for sale. When the caller asked him if he was OK, the man said to stop waking him up.

• Oct. 31 – Caller from Rich’s Citgo, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a 3-year-old, 1-year-old and 4-month-old were locked inside a running car.

• Oct. 31 – Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, reported a vehicle drove through their property and struck a sign and a concrete bumper.

• Oct. 31 – Waupaca caller reported a 21-year-old friend had been texting him that he wanted to die and his life is not worth living. The friend lives alone and had just quit his job.

• Oct. 31 – New London caller reorted her ex-husband gave her a notarized, hand-written note that she had to get of the house where they were living together. She said it was not a court-ordered eviction notice.

• Oct. 31 – Caller from the N4000 block of Marsh Road asked for extra patrol because someone dumped TVs in the ditch.

Traffic
• An 84-year-old woman was injured in a crash at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in the town of Larrabee.

Shirley A. Travnicek, Clintonville, was northbound on State Highway 22 at Lunz Road when her vehicle drifted onto the east shoulder, crossed over into a parking lot, hit a tree and two milk cooler tanks, then flipped over onto its roof.

One of the tanks was pushed into a parked pickup truck.

Travnicek was taken by ambulance to ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.

• The driver of a utility terrain vehicle was injured when it hit a pickup truck shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in Fremont.

Jennifer J. Falke, 48, Fremont, was eastbound in her UTV on Waupaca Street near Theodore Street when a westbound pickup truck crossed over into her lane, according to the accident report.

Deputies said the driver of the truck, Maxwell J. Brisky, 31, Fremont, “appeared to be tired, lethargic, denied drug or alcohol use.”

A preliminary breath test showed Brisky had zero alcohol in his system at the time of the crash.

He said he may have fallen asleep because he had been working the night before.

Brisky was cited for inattentive driving and operating left of the center line.
