Waupaca RUBY Award winner

Nollenberg recognized for community efforts

JoLene Nollenberg is the 2018 recipient of the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce’s RUBY Award.

She was chosen by the chamber’s Selection Committee because of the time she gives to organizations.

Nollenberg, of WDUX Radio, is known for giving her all in everything she does, expecting nothing in return.

The chamber’s seventh annual RUBY (Recognizing the Upward, Bright and Young) Award Luncheon took place Oct. 23, at Par 4 Resort.

To be nominated for the award, individuals had to be between ages 18 and 40; work in the Waupaca area; be making a notable impact on their business or industry; and demonstrating service and commitment to the community.

Also nominated for the award and recognized at the luncheon were Andy Behrendt, Trinity Lutheran Church; Kyle Everson, Riverhill Dental of Waupaca; Casey Gardner, Premier Community Bank; Gena Gullixon, Wisconsin Title; Jessie Jenson, Insight Counseling Services; Hillary Larson, Wisconsin Veterans Home; Tanner Ozanne, Waupaca Chiropractic Center; Melanie Peterson, Edward Jones; Leah Seavecki, First State Bank; and Bonnie Timm, Bonnie’s Bloomers.
