Waupaca County sheriff’s report Nov. 26

• Nov. 25 – Fleet Farm in Waupaca asked for police assistance with two male shoplifters because one of them took ammo out of the boxes while the other was purchasing a handgun.

• Nov. 25 – Iola caller reported her daughter’s 14-year-old friend was receiving Facebook messages asking for nude photographs.

• Nov. 24 – Caller from the 300 block of Lake Street, Scandinavia, reported an intoxicated woman was trying to break into his camper.

• Nov. 24 – Caller from the E8700 block of Fitzgerald Road, New London, reported their deer blind had been stolen.

• Nov. 24 – Caller from the E8700 block of Dey Road, New London, reported the theft of a garbage can.

• Nov. 24 – Caller from the 500 block of North Street, Waupaca, reported finding a cat in her basement.

• Nov. 24 – Caller from the 400 block of Lawrence Street, New London, reported his son’s friend stole $10 from the house.

• Nov. 24 – Caller reported a 29-year-old Waupaca woman wanted to buy heroin to mix with methadone so she could kill herself.

• Nov. 24 – Officers were called to a home on Franklin Street, Clintonville, in response to a fight.

• Nov. 24 – Caller reported seven evergreen trees had been cut down near the intersection of Bean City and Manske roads in the town of Mukwa.

• Nov. 23 – An 81-year-old Manawa woman reported being scammed out of $17,000 since the end of October.

• Nov. 23 – A 75-year-old resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported missing $105.

• Nov. 23 – A 67-year-old resident of Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported missing $261.

• Nov. 23 – Caller from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported $769.99 was taken from his checking account in July via a Western Union transaction.

• Nov. 23 – ThedaCare Waupaca requested an officer because a 44-year-old woman with a history of being disorderly had returned to the hospital.

• Nov. 22 – McDonald’s, North Shawano Street, New London, reported receiving what employees thought was a prank call from someone threatening to blow up the building. When they left work for the night, they saw an older Buick with its lights off and its engine running in the employee parking lot.

• Nov. 22 – Officers reported that after they made a traffic stop in Waupaca, the driver hit a squad car after trying to take off.
• Nov. 22 – Caller from the E11000 block of Eulrich Road, Clintonville, asked to speak to an officer about how to evict the woman who was living with him.

• Nov. 22 – Waupaca caller reported a 30-year-old man was threatening to kill himself.

• Nov. 21 – ThedaCare Waupaca reported a woman who frequently visits the hospital while intoxicated had returned. They requested an officer.

• Nov. 21 – Fremont caller reported an elderly man with dementia was walking alongside the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 10, just west of Evanswood Road.

• Nov. 21 – A 92-year-old resident of Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported he was missing $200 in cash.

• Nov. 21 – Chain One BP, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a woman ordered eight sandwiches, then said she forgot her wallet and asked that it be put on a tab. The customer received only seven sandwiches. She then called the store and threatened the girl at the counter.

• Nov. 21 – Caller from the 500 block of North Street, Waupaca, reported her 38-year-old daughter was throwing remodeling supplies down the stairs and destroying them.

• Nov. 21 – Caller from the 600 block of Harrison Street, Waupaca, reported someone busted down the door, broke into their home and stole some money.

Traffic
A 21-year-old New London man was airlifted to a Wausau hospital after a one-vehicle crash at 4:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Holdyn J. Mast, 21, New London, was southbound on Blueberry Road in the town of St. Lawrence when his vehicle went into the west ditch, crossed Silver Lake Road, then struck the embankment of a recreational trail, went airbourne and rolled several times.

Mast was thrown from the vehicle.
