Susan G. Jerrett, age 65 of Waupaca, WI, passed away after a yearlong struggle with cancer (a rare sarcoma tumor in her lung) with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Cherry Meadows Hospice Facility in Appleton, WI.
She was born December 31, 1952 in Appleton, WI, daughter of Benjamin and Allene (Dissmore) Dell. On August 20, 1977, Susan married Lynn Jerrett in Appleton, WI. She enjoyed music, nature photography, kayaking, hiking, and connecting with friends and family. She was involved with her church, Waupaca First Assembly of God, including the Encore 50+ group and the Missions Team. She lived her life dedicated to Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Susan will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Susan is survived by her husband of 41 years, Lynn Jerrett of Waupaca, WI; two daughters, Holly Jerrett of Neenah, WI and Christina (Nate) Gamble of Birmingham, AL; and four siblings, Arloa (Ron) Evans of Dothan, AL; Glen (Jann) Dell of Springfield, MO; Wanda (Surendra) Bhatt of Fort Worth, TX and Ken Dell of Reno, NV. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Allene Dell.
A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Waupaca First Assembly of God Church, 1420 Berlin Street, Waupaca, WI. Reverend Cliff Cameron will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Dec. 26, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home, 526 S. Main Street, Waupaca and again on Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Spencer Lake Christian Center, N1385 County Highway E, Waupaca, WI 54981 or to Latin America ChildHope, 1445 N. Boonville Avenue, Springfield, MO 65802. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
