Jean C. Brooks (Rominske), age 74, of New London, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 surrounded by her family at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
She was born on December 20, 1944, the daughter of Adolph and Florence (Morford) Rominske in Butternut, WI. Throughout the years Jean lived around the country. She enjoyed swimming at the New London pool six days a week, drinking margaritas, putting puzzles together, and shopping garage sales. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially Smear, and board games with her family. In her younger years she was an avid camper and snowmobiler.
Jean is survived by her loved ones, Daniel (Val) Brooks, Rick Brooks; grandchildren, Melissa Brooks, Kylee (Krista) Brooks and Chrissy Brooks; great-grandchildren: Sabian Brooks, Torrahn Jackson, Kendall Brooks and Kaydence Brooks; siblings, Dolly Walker and Jerry (Pauline) Rominske. She joins her parents, Adolph and Florence; husband Jerry, dog Keno and a brother James Rominske.
