Waupaca County sheriff’s report Jan. 7

• Jan. 6 – Caller from the 700 block of South Algoma Street, New London, reorted at 2:21 a.m. that someone was standing on her porch, looking through her window.

• Jan. 6 – Caller from the 700 block of East Alfred Street, Weyauwega, reported her son had been released from an addiction center the prior week and was now drinking vodka.

• Jan. 6 – Caller from the 500 block of South Pine Street, Weyauwega, reported a woman had parked in her driveway and then walked along the street, looking at houses. The woman was wearing dark glasses and a hoodie, and carrying a backpack.

• Jan. 6 – An Appleton caller reported her 6-year-old son stayed at his father’s house in Waupaca. When he returned, the boy accused his father of kicking him in the stomach.

• Jan. 6 – Caller from the 200 block of West Spring Street, New London, reported her father would not allow her to collect her personal belongings from his home.

• Jan. 5 – Caller from the 200 block of West Spring Street, New London, reported the theft of medications and other items and accused his daughter.

• Jan. 5 – New London caller reported a 13-year-old girl held a knife to his throat.

• Jan. 5 – Pick n’ Save, Waupaca, reported a woman became upset because the liquor store had closed at 9 p.m.

• Jan. 5 – Caller from Pulaski, Wisconsin, reported an elderly woman called her and asked if she was her grandson. When she said no, the woman then said she had fallen and needed help. Communications officers traced the woman’s phone to an address on Rural Road in Waupaca.

• Jan. 5 – Caller the 200 block of East Washington Street, New London, reported the theft of her wallet.

• Jan. 5 – Caller from the 500 block of Evergreen Street, New London, reported the theft of a 2013 Chevy Impala.

• Jan. 5 – A caller reported a 22-year-old Iola woman overdosed on Tylenol and alcohol.

• Jan. 4 – Ogdensburg caller reported an intoxicated friend sent her a text saying he was going to kill himself.

• Jan. 4 – Caller from the N10900 block of Lakeshore Road, Clintonville, reported a man driving a black sports utility vehicle was fishing in a pond where it is prohibited by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources due to a drawdown.

• Jan. 4 – A New London man reported fraudulent charges on his credit card.

• Jan. 4 – Caller from Rock Island, Tennessee, requested a welfare check on his 84-year-old father in Manawa.

• Jan. 4 – Caller from the N3800 block of Woodfield Lane, New London, asked to speak to an officer about issues with her estranged husband.

• Jan. 4 – Two calls were received about an intoxicated man staggering along East Beacon Avenue, New London.

• Jan. 3 – Caller from the 400 block of Van Street, Waupaca, reported she smelled gas in her house and suspects a leak.

• Jan. 3 – Resident of McCarthur Hall at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported a wristwatch was missing.

• Jan. 3 – Caller reported finding a credit card in a parking space across from the Waupaca post office.

• Jan. 3 – Caller from 700 block of LeRoy Butler Drive, Waupaca, reported someone keeps calling her and claiming she hit their car at Walgreen’s. They asked for her insurance information, even though she told them she has not been at Walgreen’s recently and did not hit their car.

• Jan. 2 – Bank First in Waupaca reported receiving a possible counterfeit bill.
