Police find heroin, meth

Suspect remains in jail on cash bond

David Reynolds Jr., 28, Clintonville, faces multiple counts of drug possession, including heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs. He is also charged with felony bail jumping.

Shortly before 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, Clintonville Police Officer Andrew Kizewski and Capt. Dennis Schroeder responded to a home on East 32nd Street,

A woman had called for help in retrieving some of her belongings from her home.

According to the criminal complaint, she told police she owned the home before marrying Reynolds, but moved out because he used drugs.

On June 1, 2018, Reynolds was charged with possession of meth and carrying a concealed weapon. He was released on a $2,000 signature bond.

On Aug. 20, 2018, Reynolds was charged with felony bail jumping and released on a $2,000 signature bond.

When Clintonville police arrived on Feb. 1, they accompanied the woman into a bedroom where she opened a safe that had heroin, meth and marijuana in it, the complaint says.

Reynolds is currently in custody on a $1,000 cash bond.
