Suhs, Debra Lynn

Debra Lynn Suhs, age 59 of Waupaca, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at her home after a long, hard fought battle with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) Syndrome as a result of her work-related injury.

She was born on May 5, 1959 in Waupaca to Andrew and Yvonne (Hackbarth) Anderson. She graduated from Waupaca High School in 1977. Debbie worked at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King as a recreational therapist. Debbie married Scott Suhs on October 11, 1997 in Waupaca. She loved traveling, going to the casino and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her mother, Yvonne “Peaches” Bonnell, Weyauwega; her husband, Scott Suhs, Waupaca; one sister, Yvonne “Bunny” Hansen, Waupaca; one brother, Andrew Anderson (Sue Olds), Plover; four nieces, Heidi (Nathan) Holly, Westfield, Lindsay (Bill) Tate, Waupaca, Mandi Salter, Waupaca and Angela (Tim) Huebner, Stevens Point; two nephews, Ryan (Jen) Hansen, Jackson, WY and Jeremy Anderson(Dawn Jensen), Waupaca; seven great-nephews, Nicholas, Levi and Brady Holly, Blaik and Taylor Salter, Ashton Hernandez and Brock Huebner; three great-nieces, Lauren Holly, Brianna Huebner and Keira Tate; mother-in-law, Catherine Suhs, Waupaca; two brothers-in-law, Kenny (Polly) Suhs, Waupaca and Kim (Karen) Suhs, Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Becky (Jack) Hamm, Waupaca and four nieces-in-law, Theresa and Robbin Johnson, Michelle Hamm and Bridget Montgomery-Hamm and many other relatives and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Andrew P. Anderson.

A funeral service for Debbie will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Rev. Andy Behrendt officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Waupaca County.
