Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 18

• March 17 – Fremont man reported he was attacked and stabbed three times.

• March 17 – Caller from Bonnie’s Bloomers, Waupaca, reported a man stopped at her shop and threatened her. He had given her some free wood last fall, then he told her he was Jesus and wanted to know what she was going to give him.

• March 17 – An 82-year-old caller from New London reported someone tried to enter her home, but the door was locked.

• March 17 – Caller reported a large number of feral cats were living at an abandoned bottling plant on the 400 block of East Cook Street, New London. She said she has difficulty getting into her home sometimes due to the cats.

• March 16 – Dispatch heard a Waupaca woman yelling, “He’s going to kill me!” The woman said her mouth was bleeding.

• March 16 – Caller from the 100 block of Jefferson Street, Waupaca, reported two men threw a subwoofer at his house and threatened to kill him. He said he sold the subwoofer to one of the men about two years ago.

• March 16 – Caller from the 1000 block of Nichols Creek, Waupaca, reported his ex-girlfriend will not stop calling and screaming at him. He said they are going through a custody case at this time.

• March 15 – Caller reported a 46-year-old woman in the town of Larrabee had taken half a bottle of anti-depressants.

• March 15 – Outagamie Sheriff’s Office requested the arrest of a 32-year-old man with a warrant for an attempted armed robbery.

• March 15 – Waupaca caller reported his 53-year-old brother had been drinking vodka heavily for the past three weeks and now talks about having nothing to live for.

• March 15 – Caller from the 200 block of East Union Street, Waupaca, reported her 24-year-old son took her bank card and withdrew $60 from her account.

• March 15 – Appleton cellphone caller reported she was in a vehicle with an out-of-control 8-year-old son.

• March 15 – Manawa caller reported her 10-year-old son sent her a photo of a meth pipe he found in a kitchen cupboard at his father’s house.

• March 14 – Waupaca post office reported a German Shepherd chased a mail carrier into the road. The dog’s owner later said the dog was at the Humane Society.

• March 13 – A burglary was reported on the 400 block of South Western Avenue, Waupaca.

• March 13 – Caller from the 1300 block of Stone Ridge Road, Waupaca, reported other tenants in the building were being very loud and screaming. When her boyfriend tried talking with them, the situation became heated.

• March 12 – ThedaCare Physicians in Waupaca reported a 77-year-old man called and threatened them about narcotics.

• March 12 – Iola caller reported her husband was missing since the previous day. The last time she saw him, he made threats about harming himself.
• March 12 – Caller from State Highway 96, Fremont, reported a teen living in her neighborhood injured her dog because it jumped up on him.

• March 12 – Iola woman reported a a 16-year-old boy was threatening to blackmail her daughter via text messages.

• March 11 – Caller from the Firehouse Apartments, North Main Street, Waupaca, reported a man with a medicine bottle was passed out in the day room.
