Family event in Iola

Iola Lioness will host its annual Easter Party from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in the Iola Elementary School gym.
Lioness Michelle Nelson said the party has been happening for over 30 years and is geared toward children up to third grade.
There is no charge for the event.
“It’s a nice community event that parents can come and enjoy with their children in a nice safe environment,” she said. “It makes everyone ‘hoppy’ and is an ‘eggcellent’ time.”
There will be games, treats and prizes, along with a visit from the Easter Bunny and some friendly chickens.
An Easter egg hunt will take place, weather permitting.
