Man charged with stalking

Suspect accused of domestic abuse

Tyler D. Tushoski, 40, New London is charged with felony stalking, causing mental harm to a child, three counts of violating a domestic abuse order and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Tushoski has three pending misdemeanor cases for alleged domestic abuse incidents dating back to Jan. 5.

His wife filed for divorce on March 6 and two days later filed for a restraining order against Tushoski, prohibiting him from having any direct or indirect contact with her.

On Saturday, March 30, Waupaca County Deputy Nate Nelson met with Tushoski’s estranged wife.

According to the criminal complaint, she said Tushoski was sending their 12-year-old daughter text messages.

One of the texts allegedly told the girl that her mother needed to call or come over to his house or he would be taking matters into his own hands.

Other texts described her mother as “mean and nasty,” the complaint says.

Tushoski sent a dozen messages to the girl on a single day, the complaint says.

After the daughter asked Tushoski to stop sending messages, he allegedly used profane language.

Tushoski was released from custody after posting a $2,500 cash bond.

Conditions of his bond include that he have no contact with his children.
