WHS hosts art show, concerts

Waupaca students showcase creative talents

Waupaca High School students will showcase their creative talents in the annual art show and senior tribute concerts.

The Senior Tribute Band Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, in the WHS Performing Arts Center.

This “Night At the Movies” concert will feature concert band, wind ensemble and percussion ensembles under the direction of Anna Lussier, Mark Kryshak and John Kelley.

The concert is open to the public free of charge with doors opening at 7 p.m.

The Senior Tribute Choir Concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in WHS Performing Arts Center.

Under the direction of Eric Conner and Anna Lussier, this final choral concert of the year features all choirs and a new contemporary a cappella set.

No admission is charged and doors open at 2 p.m. After the concert, there will be a reception and the WHS Main Street Art Show until 5 p.m.

The WHS Main Street Art Show opens to students and staff from Wednesday, May 8, through Wednesday, May 29.
