A late run added up to a win for the Weyauwega-Fremont softball team.

The Indians took a 7-4 lead into the seventh inning of their Central Wisconsin Conference game with Manawa May 7, but needed a run in the bottom half of the inning to break a 7-7 tie.

Manawa came up with three runs in the top of the inning to tie the game at 7-7 before the Indians scored the game-winning run.

The Indians CWC East Division game with Menominee Indian originally scheduled for May 9 was postponed. Weyauwega-Fremont will host Amherst at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 10.

Manawa’s CWC North Division game at Bowler was also postponed. The Wolves are scheduled to host Northland Lutheran/Wisconsin Valley Lutheran for a doubleheader at 4:30 p.m. May 10.
