The Amherst Falcons kept their record perfect as they moved to 3-0 and got their first conference win on the road against Colby.
Ayden Nerdahl gave Amherst a 6-0 lead as he took a carry on fourth and goal from two yards out and rumbled in for the touchdown.
Michael Glodowski extended the Falcons’ lead as he took a quarterback keeper 16 yards up the middle to give his team a 12-0 lead.
It became a 19-0 lead for the Falcons as Glodowski would once again score on a run as he found the end zone in the second quarter.
Nerdahl scored his second touchdown of the night to put Amherst up 25-0 in the second quarter.
Amherst scored in the final minute of play as Glodowski found Dylan Cook with a touchdown pass that gave the Falcons a 32-0 halftime lead.
Early in the third quarter, the Falcons started the running clock when Glodowski connected with Cook on a 10-yard touchdown pass, bringing the score to 38-0.
Colby put a touchdown on the board in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter as Amherst would win 38-8.
