Donald V. Anderson, age 98, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca.
He was born in West Allis, WI on March 3, 1926, a son of the late Carl and Emelia Anderson. He married Catherine Martin on December 27, 1947 in Waterford, WI. She preceded him in death on March 8, 2022. Donald was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
Survivors include his Daughter: Karen Hepponstall, Waupaca, WI; Son: Ken (Sue) Anderson, Deforest, WI; Grandchildren: Elisa Zamora, Wauwatosa, WI; Danielle Anderson, Madison, WI; Great Grandchildren: Ebony Hazelwood, Atlanta, GA; JaNice Hazelwood, Atlanta, GA. Donald is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife - Catherine, son-in-law - Bryan Hepponstall and siblings - Ethel, Marge and Clarence.
A Memorial Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1 PM on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, with Reverend Ron Siemers, officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Scandinavia, Waupaca Co., WI. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 (Noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home.
