On April 19, Wilson appeared in court on charges of strangulation, victim intimidation, two counts of battery and two counts of disorderly conduct. He was released from custody on a $3,000 signature bond with the condition that he have no contact with his former girlfriend.
On May 1, the former girlfriend contacted New London police and reported that Wilson had called her on her cellphone while she was at work.
When police questioned Wilson about the call, he said he had contacted the woman regarding a lease on their house and wanted to find out how he could retrieve his belongings.
Wilson faces up to six years in prison if convicted of felony bail jumping.
